Five stages to the True Label badge

Apply
The brand applies and signs a yearly plan with clear terms, including what happens if a product fails.
- 02
Buy from shops
We buy the products ourselves from shops and online stores, the same way you would. We do not accept samples sent by the brand.
- 03
Lab test
Accredited labs test the product and compare the results with what the label claims.
- 04
Decide
If the label matches the test, the product earns the badge. If it does not, the brand is told why.
- 05
Random re-tests
During the year we buy and test again without notice. A failed re-test removes the badge, and we say so publicly.
